A. Plain and enameled magnet wire with an insulation of glass fiber

Characteristics
Copper magnet wire wrapped with glass fibers are characterized by significantly enhanced mechanical and thermal resistance properties. The product satisfies the requirements of heat class H (180 °C). Unaffected by humidity, acid fumes and corrosive substances. An additional silicone coat with water repellent properties provides excellent protection against hydrolysis.

 

Applications
Eminently suitable for electric motors and generators.

C. Plain and enameled profiled magnet wire with an insulation of Daglas glass fiber

Characteristics
Daglas wrapped wire is an enamel coated wire wrapped with a mixture of glass fibers and polyester which is subsequently given a heat treatment. This causes the glass fiber wrapping to be fused to the wire, eliminating the need for impregnation. Daglas wires offer advantages that are impossible to obtain with a simple glass fiber wrapping. In addition, Daglas wires are characterized by improved strength during installation and use.

Applications
Daglas wire is eminently suitable for electric motors and (mobile) generators requiring a large margin of safety.

Characteristics
Enameled round and profiled cross section copper wire is available in standard and heat-stable grades. Both conform to heat classes Y and E. The tensile strength, absorption characteristics and breakdown voltage are in accordance with DIN-VDE 0311 guidelines.

 

Applications
Suitable for use in transformers and condensers.

F. Plain and enameled profiled magnet wire with an insulation of Kapton

DAKAP is a profiled copper wire (type 240) wrapped with 1 or 2 layers of Kapton and Teflon. This insulation material has excellent thermal properties and offers good protection against humidity. This copper wire is used in electrical drive motors and electrically driven machines. The copper wire is supplied on type 500 and 630 reels.

G. Plain and enameled profiled magnet wire with an insulation of mica.

DAMIC is a profiled copper wire wrapped with two to four layers of mica ribbon. This ribbon is made of mica fused to a polyester carrier. The insulation material is of heat class 155 ˚C and has excellent resistance against abrasion. DAMIC is mainly used in electrically driven machines. The copper wire is supplied on type 500 or 630 reels.
